Are you ready to complete FOSTER & ADOPT P.R.I.D.E. curriculum?
The next 27-hour session will be held in all-day classes over two weekends. PLAN TO ATTEND ALL SESSIONS TO EARN CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION.
Classes will be held on the followning dates and at the following locations:
Friday Sept. 23rd 6:00-9:00 p.m. & Saturday Sept. 24th 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. @ AmeriTel Boise TOWNE SQUARE (near the Towne Square Mall)
Friday Oct. 14th & Saturday Oct. 15th - same times above - AmeriTel Boise Towne Square.
Steeply discounted rooms at AmeriTel Boise Towne Square will be available ($25.00/night) for those traveling long distances. Please register for the class by calling PATH Idaho, the host of this PRIDE training and asking them to arrange this rate for you. You CANNOT get this rate by calling the AmeriTel Inns directly. It must be arranged through PATH Idaho.
This 27-hour course of pre-service training is for those interested in becoming a family resource for a child or sibling group. Many of the prospective parents who enter this course are already working through a private adoption agency. Some attendees may be thinking of becoming therapeutic foster parents. All are welcome!

Registration fee is $125/couple or $110/individual. Entire PRIDE curriculum taught over the course of two weekends in BOISE. Plan on lunch on your own. Snacks provided. Buffet breakfast may be available at hotel for a reduced price--please let us know if you are interested.

Full curriculum completion a MUST to certify /license for fostering or adoption. Please plan to attend entire 27 hours. Exceptions for one session (1-2 hours) may be arranged in advance, with make-up work involved.
IDAHO'S DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND WELFARE ALSO PROVIDES PRIDE TRAINING FOR FOSTER AND FOSTER-ADOPT FAMILIES. If you are interested in State provided PRIDE, please call the Idaho CareLine at 2-1-1 within Idaho.
Register today for the next session of Foster Adopt PRIDE, offered by PATH Idaho and SNAPS, Inc. Individuals completing 27 hours of training will receive a PRIDE certificate of completion. Placement of a child or licensing of your home for foster care is NOT guaranteed. This course has a mutual asessment purpose that allows families to explore becoming a resource for a child with special needs related to abuse, neglect or abandonment.
