Treatment Foster Care
 Treatment foster care involves intensive services utilizing highly trained foster parents providing care for children with psychiatric conditions involving severe emotional and behavioral problems. Treatment foster parents are required to have significant education requirements and are certified in medication monitoring and crisis intervention. PATH licensed social workers offer therapy and support to families and their children in care while providing treatment consultation and behavioral management support to PATH foster parents. In addition PATH social workers offer case management with the child's psychiatric community of care.
The treatment foster care program provides treatment services to all youth with an Axis I diagnosis. Care is provided in a family and community setting. The foster family is a primary of a treatment environment for the youth with a team that wraps services around the youth and their family utilizing a single plan of care.
